Comments on the controversy over the gay love scene in the new video game?

There is a gay love scene in a game put out by Bioware. People are going crazy both positive and negative. What do you think? I think it is pretty frickin sweet!!

They had a similar controversy surrounding the possible lesbian sex scene in Mass Effect between the player and an Asari. What bothered me about that game is that, while they had the option to have a female/female relationship and sex scene, there was no option for anything male/male, which seemed like a real cop-out- like the whole double-standard of "lesbians are hot but gay guys are grosssss." It's good to hear that Bioware has listened to this and made a male/male option available to the player.



In a game where half the gameplay is to make choices and lead an in-game life of sorts, it's refreshing to see a developer add an option for the player to decide his/her character's sexuality.Comments on the controversy over the gay love scene in the new video game?
You can be gay or lesbian in the Sims games. They have some pretty good makeout scenes

the game is Dragon Age Origins.

i was already a fan of Bioware but this makes me love them even more. i think it's really good. Bioware got criticized when they had a hetero love scene in Mass Effect, so i don't think they really care about being criticized for the gay love scenes in Dragon Age.
