Why did bioware push mass effect 3's release back to next year?

ASH IS DEAD! At least in my playthrough :)



The answer is basically that they want more time to add things to the game. Casey Hudson is keeping us informed via Twitter, and they are busy as ****, recording/writing new dialogue, designing characters, locations, ect.



I know there are several things that Bioware hasn't decided on, like whether or not they'll be showing Tali's face. Ultimately; they aren't done with the game and don't want to be rushed in the last few months of development.Why did bioware push mass effect 3's release back to next year?
