Well, no, I"m kidding. Sort of. Before the free upgrade to the signature edition was announced, DA2 retailed for $49.99. Bioware will automatically upgrade you to the signature edition if you buy it before Jan 11, 2011. When they announced that, all the stores participating in the upgrade bumped the price up to $59.99. Jerks - free upgrade, my fanny.
This is what the SE version has, according to Amazon:

* A download code for a bonus character and missions
* A downloadable game soundtrack
* An exclusive in?-game digital armory featuring multiple weapons
* Additional downloadable items
You just cannot pre-order the regular DA2 until after Jan 11.
