The Old Republic is made by a different team in Texas. Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age II are being developed by their core teams in Canada. They have four teams: BioWare Edmonton, BioWare Austin, BioWare Mythic, and BioWare MontrealWhy does Bioware waste their time with mass effect 3 when they could be working on the old republic?
as fred wrote, they have different teams....
to answer your question....one is an RPG, one an MMO...there are a number of folks not interested in playing an MMO....also not a ton of folks interesed in the multi player hints dropped about ME3
