Is Knights of the Old Republic still good compared to Bioware's current RPGs?

I have had a copy for a while, but I shockingly haven't played through it yet. Should I or will I feel it is too dated? Is Knights of the Old Republic still good compared to Bioware's current RPGs?
kotor is one of the greatest rpg's created in my oppinion, so is the second. it will feel a little dated but if you get the pc versions its a lot more fun.
in my opinion the only let downs to the KotoR series is the lack of support for bugs and fixes. the games are a little glitchy. 1 more then 2. unfortunatly i cant compare to any of the other bioware games. as i havnt played any to my knowledge. but KotoR are brilliant games nonetheless. Is Knights of the Old Republic still good compared to Bioware's current RPGs?
its better then most of bioware's current crap

because all bioware does is repackage their game engine and game play with a new story and new graphics and call that a new game

mass effect is nothing more then kotor with out the star wars license

dragon age is mass effect in a fantasy setting

jade empire is kotor in a fantasy china setting

kotor is never winter nights 2 in a star wars setting

never winter nights 2 is never winter nights with a numerical 2 and differnt crap story line

and never winter nights is baldurs gat 2 with a new jacket

they are all bloody baldurs gate 2 with a new storyline !

play kotor 1 play kotor 2 both are great games

kotor 2 more so maybe because it wasnt made by bioware

ignore the rest of biowares over rated and over hyped games

they are just as bad as rockstar capcom nintendo and square by repackaing the same damn game over and over again

off course unless repitition is your thing then go right ahead

in short kotor 1 is a good game and is not dated

kotor 2 is a better game

bioware's out put is grossly overrated and overhyped
Whew... good thing bluekatt didn't regress all the way back to a Bard's Tale :D

Yes, KOTOR is worth playing. The basic interface is pretty standard and the story takes place thousands of years ago, so it doesn't feel any more dated now. than when it was released. Is Knights of the Old Republic still good compared to Bioware's current RPGs?
iv played that game so much its realy fun cause if you play as a female 1 of your companions will flirt with you or the choices you make can affect some stuff
Play it! That game is timeless, just like Starcraft is still fun to play today despite countless newer RTS games having come along....
